The town of Addamsville is engulfed in mysterious fires. The flames are taking the life of janitor George Masrell, and the whole city is convinced that Zora Novak is to blame. This girl is from a somewhat strange family: her mother disappeared without a trace, and her father was imprisoned. Zora has already been suspected of similar antics, so who knows what else can be expected from her. But what if, in fact, Zora is on the side of goodness and is forced to fight the flames - creatures that burn everything in their path and feed on the human spirit? How can she prove her innocence when everyone is against her? Zora will have to investigate this crime himself and make the whole city believe in supernatural phenomena.
