Monster in the Box

The new Inspector Wexford novel sees Ruth Rendell reinventing her famous detective in flashbacks that take account of Wexford's early career and the courtship of the woman who would become his wife. Publication will coincide with the reissue of the first six Wexford novels in Arrow PB. The previous Wexford titles sold over 165,000 copies in Arrow PB and Rendell has sold over 8 million Arrow PBs to date. Huge consumer advertising campaign in the works.
