Close Up Volume 1: Love Songs is the first in a series of records on which Vega reinterprets her favourite songs. In this first installment we are treated to her best songs on love. Songs that were inviting have now become intimate because of their small acoustic arrangements, and Vega is subtle as ever, letting the songs speak for themselves.
