Women's Football Motivations and Future Perspectives

Motivation is at the heart of many sports' most interesting issues. The level of motivation of an athlete can make the difference between obtaining or losing the pre-established performance's objectives and this is a crucial concept in the sport's world. What comes immediately to our mind is: Why do people practise sport? What are the main motivations? My research wants to investigate the main motivations that initially pushed and are currently pushing female athletes to practise football. Moreover it aims to investigate the difficulties and the lacks of women's football, trying to understand where to start in order to develop this sport.
